1. What we collect
- Account info: name, email, billing address
- Device identifiers used to bind your license
- License usage metadata: activation time, validation timestamps
- Standard request logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention
2. What we do NOT collect
We never read content from inside your apps, never sell or rent your data, and never use your device identifier for tracking outside of license enforcement.
3. How we use it
Your data is used solely to: deliver and validate license keys, process payments, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, and send essential service notifications (receipts, expiry warnings, security alerts).
4. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) payment processors (to bill you), (b) hosting providers under strict data processing agreements, and (c) law enforcement when legally required. We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Data retention
License records are kept for as long as your account is active, plus 7 years for tax and audit purposes. Request logs are deleted after 90 days. You can request full account deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Contact privacy@luminous-cipher.app and we'll respond within 30 days. GDPR, CCPA, and similar rights are honored regardless of where you live.
7. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Row-level security policies isolate each customer's data. We undergo regular security reviews and never store payment card numbers — those live with our PCI-compliant payment processor.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and the dashboard to function. No third-party advertising or analytics tracking.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
